Bourbon Raffle Kickstart for Veteran Home Guardians

We are proud to share the incredible impact of our recent Bourbon Raffle, which has helped launch Veteran Home Guardians into action.

A huge thank you to the Live. Stay. Project, an anti-suicide nonprofit dedicated to supporting mental health and wellness in the community. Their generous partnership and belief in our mission made this possible.

​

Thanks to raffle supporters, we raised $13,555. On top of that, the LiveStay Project generously donated an additional $5,000, giving Veteran Home Guardians an initial starting capital of $18,555 to begin operations in and around Central Ohio.

​

These funds allowed us to connect younger veterans and friends of veterans with senior and disabled veterans in need, ensuring no veteran is left isolated or without support.

A full week of meaningful visits, uplifting activities, and companionship for multiple veterans.

 

$10,000 400 hours

A month of daily services, including events, outings, and one-on-one time that brighten the lives of dozens of residents.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who participated in the raffle, donated, or helped spread the word. You’ve given us the ability to start making a real difference, and we can’t wait to show you the impact your generosity will create.
